ME: I knew it was somthing
FRIEND: *mad*
ME: I thought I was goin crazy, I was sooo about to become a potential Ashanti fan -_-
FRIEND: imma slap her for saying BABY
ME: Urgh, I’m so sick of people with that!? Ashanti’s music varies, it varies, there’s “ooh baby, ahh baby, hey baby, look at my baby hair (something like that I said I forgot)” — many variations! <_<
FRIEND: LMFAO!

With that being said, I need your help - this is hard, Who Owns The Track? Oh yeah, this is Ashanti’s new single - blah, blah, blah - something about The Declaration dropping December 4th.

I wanna say that I like Ashanti’s version better… Cuz Diddy aint all over the song drowning her like he did Keyshia Cole… Though Keyshia Cole sang better… This is definitely a big step up for Ashanti… Ashanti may come back Official…

i love ashanti’s song keyshia didnt really own da song to me and ashanti made the beat hers after awhile of listening to ashanti i forgot all about keyshia cole and that last night song

i am not a huge fan of either singer…keisha has a strong voice…i just can’t get into it that much…i’ve never really been an ashanti fan except for “only you” because that song was “original” for her…eventhough ashanti’s voice erks me to no end…i like her version better because there is no diddy on it…if keyshia didn’t have diddy on “last night” eventhough it is his song…i would like hers better because the beat is a little bit hotter than ashanti’s.

THE BEAT IS VERY MUCH THE SAME BUT I KIND OF LIKE KIESHA COLE CUZ ASHANTI DOES SAY THAT ALOT. HERS NEEDS 2 SHOUD DIFFERENT FROM KEISHA COLE. I THINK ASHANTI SHOULD HAVE PUT A DIFFERENT BEAT 2 IT

i gotta get use to that song that ashanti is putting out…I think keisha cole owns the track though but it’s diddy song so you should say DIDDY or ASHANTI….

I wish she would quit fucking saying BABY in every damn song she releases!!!!

And yeah, that beat is almost identical to “Last Night.” Not a good look … at all.

I think I like Ashanti’s better, simply b/c I hate Diddy, and @ comment 7; irregardless it’s Diddy song, Keyshia practically owns that song (like you said), Diddy is just inevitably annoying!! Plus, “Last Night” is also on her new album.

I’m agreeing with Dustin, there’s way too much ‘baby’ in Ashantiâ€™s songs! I’ve been fan of her since “Always on time”, but I don’t really like this one.

And “Last night”… again agreeing with Mike, Diddy has ruined the song. Keyshia did a great job! But you should put Keyshiaâ€™s “Didn’t I tell you” song. It would definitely win! God, I love this song! :P

Keyshia owns it, hands down. I am not a big fan of Keysh or Ashanti, I appreciate some of their music. Keyshia has more soul in Last Night while Ashanti in her version sounds like a cheap radio ad. Even with Diddy, Keyshia was into it. Ashanti sounds like her version came off of a shelved mixtape. Truthfully, Ashanti sings ballads better I mean the slow james on Chapter II had me hooked, its her up-tempos that make her a pop mess!

I really think Ashanti have this one really ok b/c shes says the word dont mean that KC sounded better the vibe on this song goes wuth Ashanti really.
